WHY A MERCHANDISE SHOP ?
In the past on the old website, I used to have a few followers asking for a store where they could buy products or souvenirs to help me fund the adventure. Since I rebuilt and redesigned the new website, I decided to also include the store. I worked hard many years on cruise ships, but I was never able to save enough. Every time I returned aboard Anastasia, I had no other source of income except the support I received from the followers and my family. So right now, I also think is a good idea to have some sort income that will help me move forward. So I will thank you in advance for any purchases from the Treasure Chest shop.
ARE YOU SHIPPING WORLDWIDE, AND WHERE FROM ?
When at home In Romania, I am the one taking care of the shop. While out at sea, my sister is the one that handles everything for me. All the shipping is done from Romania, but we are able to ship worldwide.
WHAT SHIPPING OPTIONS DO YOU HAVE ?
We are using a Romanian service ( Colete Online ), that has a list of various shipping companies. During the checkout process we set up for you to see the first four cheapest options available. Is up to you to pick the one you think it works best for you. If you have any issues with the shipping options during checkout, or there is no shipping method available, feel free to contact us.
Sometimes the shipping costs seem overpriced and unfortunately that is out of our hands. We are still working on trying to find ways to lower the shipping costs. It seems a waste of money to buy a € 15 product and pay € 25 for shipping.
ARE WE GOING TO PAY CUSTOMS FEES ?
If you are not from EU, you might get asked to pay a duty / import fee. The tax is calculated differently in each country depending on the products. Some countries may not charge anything at all. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this.
IS THE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT SECURE ?
All the payments are processed with Stripe. We do not store any payment information on our server. We only store your personal information such as address, phone number and email, in order to process and deliver the products you purchased.
CAN WE CONTACT YOU ABOUT ORDERS OR DELIVERY ISSUES ?
Of course you can, you are our client and the supporter of the adventure. Feel free to contact us using the form available on the contact page. Click on the orders checkbox when sending the email for a faster reply. The “land team” should be able to help you out with any issues you may have. If there is something complicated, just have a little patience until I have an internet connection and I will personally get back to you as quick as I can. Hopefully it won’t be the case and everything goes smooth.
